To install and set up the Jabra PanaCast 4K UHD Conferencing Camera, please follow these steps:
1. Start by connecting the camera to your computer using the 1m cable included in the package or the optional Jabra 1.8m cable. Ensure that the cable is securely connected to both the camera and the computer.
2. If you are experiencing video freeze or flicker issues, try using another original Jabra PanaCast cable from a working camera to rule out any possible cable issues.
3. If you are using a USB extender cable or USB hub solution, make sure it is from the Jabra-approved list of extender cable and USB hub solutions. You can find this information in the Product documents section on the Jabra website. Additionally, try using another USB port on your computer or test the camera on another computer to see if the issue persists.
4. If possible, try using another application for video streaming to determine if the problem is specific to a particular software. This will help identify whether the issue lies with the camera or the software being used.
5. In some cases, video flicker may occur if you are in a region or country that operates on 50 Hz power frequency (such as Australia, France, Germany, United Kingdom) or if you are using the camera under extreme lighting conditions. To reduce video flicker, you can adjust the Line Frequency setting in Jabra Direct* to 50Hz.
Please note that Jabra Direct version 4.x or later is required to access the Line Frequency setting.
For more detailed instructions and troubleshooting tips, you can refer to the Jabra PanaCast 4K UHD Conferencing Camera's user manual available on the Jabra support website.
*Jabra Direct is a software application provided by Jabra for managing and configuring Jabra devices.
