To clean the Aroma Housewares AEW-306 Electric Cooking Chopsticks, follow these steps:
1. Always unplug the chopsticks and allow them to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Remove the temperature control probe and set it aside.
3. To detach the quick-release base, turn the chopsticks over with the bottom facing up. Press down on the release xxxx and turn counterclockwise to release.
4. The lid and the body can be entirely immersed in water for cleaning. Use a soft sponge or dishcloth to clean the chopsticks.
5. Clean thoroughly with warm, soapy water and a damp sponge or cloth. If necessary, you can soak the chopsticks in warm soapy water for a half-hour and then clean.
6. Thoroughly rinse and dry the chopsticks before storing or using them again.
7. Reattach the quick-release base before storage. Turn the chopsticks over and line up the base with the heating element. Press the xxxx in and turn clockwise to lock.
Note: The temperature control probe is not dishwasher-safe. Do not immerse the temperature control probe in water or any other liquid. Also, do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or products that are not considered safe to use on nonstick coatings.
