To adjust the shade settings on the Cuisinart CPT-T20 2-Slice Touchscreen Toaster, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the toaster is plugged into an outlet and the power icon on the touchscreen is illuminated.
2. On the touchscreen, you will see options for bagel, defrost, and single slice, along with the six shade settings.
3. To adjust the shade settings, simply touch the shade setting you desire. The shade settings range from 1 (lightest) to 6 (darkest).
4. Once you have selected your desired shade setting, place your bread slices in the toaster and press the Start icon to begin toasting.
5. The toaster will automatically toast the bread to the selected shade setting and stop once the toasting process is complete.
Note: If you want to check the progress of your toast without interrupting the toasting process, you can use the QuickView function by touching the QuickView icon on the touchscreen. This allows you to see the current shade of your toast without pausing or canceling the toasting cycle.
