According to the user manual, cleaning the is easy. Before cleaning, make sure the mixer is turned off and unplugged from the wall outlet. To clean the beaters, remove them from the mixer by lifting the beater release lever. Wash the beaters after each use in hot, soapy water or in a dishwasher.
Do not put the motor housing in water or other liquids to clean. Instead, wipe it with a damp cloth or sponge. Avoid using abrasive cleansers that could scratch the surface of the mixer.
It is important to note that the Cuisinart HM-90S Handheld Mixer should not be used on nonstick cookware.
