To connect your speakers to the Marantz PM8006 Integrated Amplifier, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the amplifier is turned off and unplugged from the power source.
2. Identify the speaker terminals on the back panel of the amplifier. There are two sets of speaker terminals labeled "A" and "B."
3. For a single pair of speakers, choose either the "A" or "B" terminals. For two pairs of speakers, you can use both sets of terminals.
4. For each speaker, strip a small portion of the speaker wire insulation to expose the bare wire.
5. Insert the bare wire into the corresponding speaker terminal. The positive (+) terminal is usually marked with a red color or a "+" symbol, while the negative (-) terminal is usually marked with a black color or a "-" symbol.
6. Tighten the speaker terminal screws to secure the wire in place. Ensure that there is a secure connection without any loose strands of wire.
7. Repeat the above steps for the other speaker(s) you wish to connect.
8. Once all the speakers are connected, double-check the connections to ensure they are secure and properly matched (positive to positive, negative to negative).
9. Connect the other end of the speaker wire to the corresponding terminals on your speakers, following the same polarity (positive to positive, negative to negative).
10. After ensuring all connections are secure, plug in the amplifier and turn it on.
