To cook rice in the IMUSA GAU-00011 Electric Nonstick Rice Cooker, follow these steps:
1. Rinse the rice before placing it into the cooking bowl to remove excess bran and starch.
2. Add the desired amount of rice to the cooking bowl. Use the provided measuring cup to measure the rice.
3. Add water to the cooking bowl according to the recommended water-to-rice ratio in the Rice Cooking Chart provided in the user manual.
4. Place the cooking bowl back into the rice cooker and close the lid.
5. Plug the rice cooker into a standard electrical outlet. The WARM light will come on.
6. Push the "On" switch down, and the COOK indicator light will come on.
7. As the rice cooks, steam will come out of the vent in the tempered glass lid.
8. Once the rice is cooked, the rice cooker will automatically switch to the "Keep Warm" mode, and the WARM light will stay on.
9. Let the rice sit in the rice cooker for a few minutes before serving.
10. Use the provided serving spoon to scoop out the cooked rice.
