The Bose Acoustimass 6 Series III is designed to be used with a receiver or amplifier. It cannot be directly connected to a computer. To use the speakers with your computer, you will need to connect the computer to a receiver or amplifier that has audio outputs.
Here are the steps to connect the speakers to a receiver or amplifier:
1. Make sure your receiver or amplifier has audio outputs. These are typically labeled as "speaker outputs" or "audio outputs."
2. Connect the audio outputs of your computer to the audio inputs of the receiver or amplifier. This can be done using RCA cables, 3.5mm audio cables, or HDMI cables, depending on the available connections on both your computer and the receiver or amplifier.
3. Once the computer is connected to the receiver or amplifier, connect the speakers to the speaker outputs of the receiver or amplifier. The Acoustimass 6 Series III system includes speaker cables that can be connected to the corresponding speaker outputs on the receiver or amplifier.
4. Make sure all connections are secure and properly plugged in.
5. Turn on the computer, receiver or amplifier, and the Acoustimass 6 speakers.
6. Adjust the volume on the receiver or amplifier to control the sound level of the speakers.
