To connect the Behringer EUROLIVE B1200D-PRO subwoofer to your audio system, follow these steps:
1. Locate the balanced XLR inputs on the back of the subwoofer. These inputs are labeled "Input A" and "Input B".
2. Use XLR cables to connect the line outputs of your mixer to the XLR inputs of the subwoofer. Connect the left channel of your mixer to the "Input A" and the right channel to the "Input B".
3. If you have additional enclosures or speakers that you want to connect, use the balanced XLR Thru jacks on the subwoofer. These Thru jacks are also labeled "Input A" and "Input B". Connect the Thru jacks to the inputs of your additional enclosures or speakers using XLR cables.
4. Once the connections are made, adjust the Level xxxx on the subwoofer to set the input gain. Start with the xxxx at the center position and adjust it to achieve the desired volume level.
5. If needed, you can use the Boost Frequency xxxx to boost a specific frequency between 45 Hz and 90 Hz. The Boost switch can be flicked to give the selected frequency a +10 dB boost.
6. The High Cut dial controls the upper-corner frequency for the internal amplifier without affecting the Thru A/B signals. Adjust this dial to align the sound to your preferences.
7. The Phase switch can be used to reverse the output phase of the subwoofer if there is frequency cancellation between the subwoofer and satellite speakers.
8. Monitor the operational status of the subwoofer using the Power, Signal, and Clip LEDs on the front panel. These LEDs indicate power, signal presence, and input overloads.
