To use the Oster Electric Wine Opener and Foil Cutter Kit, follow these steps:
1. Preparing your Electric Wine Opener: Before using the product for the first time, charge it for at least eight hours. Plug one end of the adapter cord into the base of the recharging unit and the other end into a main socket. Place the Electric Wine Opener into the recharging unit, ensuring it is firmly in position and fully engaged with the recharging connection. It will take approximately 6-8 hours to fully recharge.
2. Removing the foil: Before removing the cork, use the foil cutter provided to remove any foil from the bottle. Place the foil cutter on top of the bottle, squeeze and twist it around the bottle's rim to cut the foil.
3. Opening the bottle: Place the Electric Wine Opener on top of the wine bottle, making sure it remains as upright as possible. Hold the Electric Wine Opener firmly and depress the lower part of the switch. The corkscrew spiral will turn in a clockwise direction and enter the cork, gradually removing it from the bottle. When the Electric Wine Opener mechanism has stopped, the cork has been fully removed from the bottle.
4. Releasing the cork: Lift the Electric Wine Opener away from the bottle. To release the cork, depress the upper part of the switch. The spiral will turn in a counter-clockwise direction and release the cork.
5. Cleaning: After use, clean the Electric Wine Opener by wiping the motor unit with a damp cloth or sponge. Do not immerse the motor unit in water. The Electric Wine Opener should not be placed in the dishwasher.
Remember to always return the Electric Wine Opener to the recharging unit when finished with it to protect the mechanism while not in use.
