To connect the Bowers & Wilkins ASW610 Black Hi-Fi Subwoofer to your audio system, you have two options: line-level inputs and speaker-level inputs.
1. Line-Level Inputs:
- Use an RCA cable to connect the line-level input sockets (left and right) on the subwoofer (Item 11 in Figure 1) to the corresponding output on your audio system.
- Set the LOW-PASS FILTER switch (Item 6 in Figure 1) to OUT.
- Set the EQ switch (Item 8 in Figure 1) and the PHASE switch (Item 9 in Figure 1) to your desired settings.
- Adjust the VOLUME (LINE) control (Item 3 in Figure 1) to your desired level.
2. Speaker-Level Inputs:
- Use speaker wire to connect the speaker level input binding posts (left and right) on the subwoofer (Item 12 in Figure 1) to the corresponding speaker outputs on your audio system.
- Set the LOW-PASS FILTER switch (Item 6 in Figure 1) to IN.
- Set the EQ switch (Item 8 in Figure 1) and the PHASE switch (Item 9 in Figure 1) to your desired settings.
- Adjust the VOLUME (SPEAKER) control (Item 4 in Figure 1) to your desired level.
Make sure to follow the correct polarity when connecting the speaker-level inputs (positive to positive, negative to negative) to ensure proper phasing.
