1. Safety Precautions:
- Only licensed electricians should install the product to prevent personal injury or product damage.
- Disconnect power before installation or servicing to avoid electric shock or component damage.
- Install the product in accordance with the national electric code (NEC) and all applicable codes and safety standards.
- Allow the product to cool down before servicing.
- Do not alter or modify the product as it may cause injury, death, property damage, or product malfunction.
- Ensure proper grounding to prevent product malfunction and electrical shock.
- This product is designed to operate in ambient temperatures ranging from -40°F to 113°F (-40°C to 45°C) and should be horizontally mounted with the LEDs facing down. It is for wall mount only and not suitable for corrosive gas liquids or high-pressure water vapor environments.
2. Junction Box Mounting:
- Loosen screws and carefully remove the front lens set from the back plate.
- Drill appropriate knockouts for wiring. The fixture supports standard 3 1/4'' and 4'' Junction Boxes.
- Attach the back plate on the wall, using the supplied gaskets for a weather-tight seal.
- Finish wiring, connecting Black for Line, White for Neutral, and Yellow Green for Ground.
- Replace the lens set on the hinges, make connections, close the lens set, and tighten the screws.
3. Conduit Mounting:
- Loosen screws and carefully remove the front lens set from the back plate.
- Remove the 1/2" plug from the desired conduit entry point.
- Drill out the holes to secure the fixture on the wall with proper screws.
- Finish wiring, connecting Black for Line, White for Neutral, and Yellow Green for Ground.
- Replace the lens set on the hinges, make connections, close the lens set, and tighten the screws.
4. Waterproofing:
- To ensure a waterproof seal, apply Teflon tape on the threads at the conduit entry point to prevent water entry.
- Apply weatherproof silicone sealant around the edge of the wall mounting box and/or junction box, especially on uneven wall surfaces.
- Silicone all plugs and unused conduit entries.
5. Photocell Installation:
- If using a photocell, install it according to the provided diagram.
- Use a photocell rated for your supply voltage.
- The universal voltage driver allows operation at 60 Hz, except for fixtures factory ordered with a 120-277VAC (P0) or 347VAC photocell (P3).
6. Troubleshooting:
- Check that the line voltage at the fixture is correct, referring to the wiring directions.
- Ensure the fixture is properly grounded.
- Verify that the photocell, if used, is functioning properly.
