To install and use the CONCEPTRONIC POR-0222 2-Port Gigabit PoE-Plus Repeater, follow these steps:
1. Connect the POR-0222 repeater to your existing Gigabit PoE (802.3af/at) network. Use an Ethernet cable to connect the "IN" port of the repeater to your Power Sending Equipment (PSE), such as a Gigabit PoE-Plus switch.
2. Connect your PoE devices to the repeater. Use Ethernet cables to connect your PoE devices to the "OUT" ports of the repeater. The repeater can support up to two PoE devices.
3. Ensure that the power and data connections are secure.
4. Power on your PoE devices and the repeater. The repeater will receive power from the PSE, so no additional power supply is required.
5. The repeater will automatically forward the PoE power and data to the connected PoE devices, extending the network performance up to 200 meters.
6. The POR-0222 repeater has three RJ-45 ports: one "IN" port for receiving power and data, and two "OUT" ports for extending the power and data. The repeater also has indicators for Power, PoE In, and PoE Out, which can help you monitor the status of the connections.
