To connect and set up the CONCEPTRONIC FEP 0811W250 8 Port Fast Ethernet PoE Switch, follow these steps:
1. Power off all devices (switch, PoE devices, and network devices) before connecting them.
2. Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the LAN port on your network device (e.g., router or modem).
3. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to any of the RJ45 ports (labeled 1-8) on the switch.
4. If you have PoE devices, connect them to any of the PoE ports (also labeled 1-8) on the switch using Ethernet cables.
5. Connect the power cord to the power input of the switch.
6. Plug the power cord into a power outlet.
7. Power on all devices.
The switch will automatically detect and provide power to any connected PoE devices. The switch supports IEEE 802.3af/at PoE standards, allowing it to provide power and data over a single Ethernet cable.
