To install and connect the level one POR 0220 Gigabit PoE Plus Repeater, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have a Gigabit PoE-Plus switch or Power Sending Equipment (PSE) available to provide power to the repeater.
2. Identify the location where you want to install the repeater. It should be within the range of your existing Gigabit PoE network.
3. Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the "IN" port of the repeater.
4. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the PoE port of your Gigabit PoE-Plus switch or PSE.
5. Connect one end of another Ethernet cable to one of the "OUT" ports of the repeater.
6. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the device you want to extend the Gigabit PoE connection to. If the device requires power, make sure it is compatible with PoE.
7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for any additional devices you want to connect to the repeater.
8. Power on the Gigabit PoE-Plus switch or PSE to provide power to the repeater and connected devices.
The level one POR 0220 Gigabit PoE Plus Repeater does not require any additional power supply as it receives power from the connected Gigabit PoE-Plus switch or PSE. It supports 802.3af, 802.3at, and High-Power PoE standards, allowing you to forward power and data to remote devices.
