To install and set up the LevelOne POR-1100 Outdoor PoE Repeater, please follow these steps:
1. Determine the ideal location: Choose a suitable location for the repeater, such as rooftops, factory floors, airports, manufacturing plants, or large warehouses. Ensure that the location is within the range of your existing PoE network.
2. Mount the repeater: Use the included mounting kit to securely mount the repeater. The repeater is designed for pole mounting.
3. Connect the repeater: Connect the Ethernet cable from your PoE switch or Power Sending Equipment (PSE) to the "PoE IN" port on the repeater. Make sure the cable is securely connected.
4. Connect the remote device: Connect the remote device that needs to be powered and extended to the "PoE OUT" port on the repeater. Again, ensure a secure connection.
5. Verify the connection: Check the indicators on the repeater labeled "PoE IN" and "PoE OUT" to ensure that the power and data are being transmitted correctly.
6. Test the extended range: Once the repeater is connected and powered on, test the extended range by checking if the remote device is receiving power and data. You should now be able to access the remote device from your network.
