To clean the Aktobis AG WDH-MG1 Humidifier, follow these steps:
1. Switch off the appliance and disconnect the main plug before cleaning.
2. Open the upper lid of the humidifier and remove the white water tank and the black steam nozzle shaft, including the steam nozzle.
3. Unscrew the residual water drain located on the lower rear side and empty any residual water from the appliance.
4. Use mild cleaning agents to clean the humidifier. Rinse the white water tank carefully and wipe it from the outside with a damp cloth.
5. Clean the black steam nozzle shaft and the steam nozzle.
6. Clean the white water cup, including the ultrasonic water vapor unit in the lower part of the machine. If there are limescale deposits, add 5-10 drops of a suitable cleaning agent (e.g., Dimanin A) to the surface of the vaporizers or the water cup and wait a few minutes. Then, wipe off any dirt with a soft sponge or the provided brush.
7. Wipe or clean all parts of the humidifier, except for the electrical control panel, with a soft damp cloth when the unit is switched off.
8. If you are not going to use the humidifier for a long time, remove any water, thoroughly clean the unit, and ensure it is completely dry before storing it.
Note: It is recommended to clean the evaporator and ultrasonic water vapor unit every week, especially if you have hard water. Regularly changing the water in the water tank will also help keep it fresh.
