To connect the Symetrix Prism 8x8, 12x12, or 16x16 to your computer, you will need a Windows PC with the following requirements: 1 GHz or higher processor, Windows 7 or higher operating system, 250 MB free storage space, 1280x1024 graphics capability, 16-bit or higher colors, internet connection, 512 MB or more of RAM, and a network (Ethernet) interface.
Once you have the necessary equipment, you can follow these steps:
1. Connect the Prism hardware device to your computer using a CAT5e/CAT6 cable or an existing Ethernet network.
2. Make sure the Prism hardware device is powered on and connected to a power source using the provided power cable and switching power supply.
3. Install the Composer software on your computer by downloading the software installer from the Symetrix website (http://www.symetrix.co). Double-click on the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
4. After installing the software, refer to the Help File for full connection and configuration information.
