To mount the UEBLER i21 Bike Rack on your vehicle, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your towbar and vehicle are suitable for mounting a bicycle rack. Check the maximum towbar load and the D-value of the ball head as specified in your vehicle's operating manual.
2. Clean and degrease the ball head of the towbar before mounting.
3. Open the flap of the bag and press the safety lever on the towbar attachment so that it comes out.
4. Hold the bicycle rack upright and push it onto the ball head of the towbar. Tilt the bicycle rack downwards until the safety lever audibly engages. The red marking on the safety lever should no longer be visible.
5. Check that the bicycle rack is parallel to the bumper and roughly parallel to the ground. Shake the bicycle rack to ensure it is firmly fitted. If necessary, remove and remount the bicycle rack.
6. Pull the bag off the bicycle rack and lock the bicycle rack with the key. Remove the key.
7. Pull the plug out of the plug holder on the wheel rail and connect it to the socket on the vehicle. Turn it clockwise as far as it will go.
8. Open up the quick-release clamp, fold up the rack frame, and fully close the quick-release clamp again to fasten the rack frame.
9. Fold out the wheel rails and tail lights by the crosspieces until they engage. Check that the lights work correctly.
10. Press the holder down, slide the number plate into the number plate holder, push it up, and press it all the way in. Ensure that the number plate is securely fitted.
