To install the Thermaltake Pacific Ultra Core P6 DP-D5 Plus reservoir, please follow these steps:
1. Consult with a qualified technician: This product is intended for installation by expert users. If you are unsure about the installation process, it is recommended to seek assistance from a qualified technician.
2. Read the manual: Before beginning the installation process, carefully read the user manual provided with the product. It contains important instructions and guidelines for proper installation.
3. Use compatible coolant: It is strongly recommended to use a market-proven pre-mix coolant, such as Thermaltake Coolant 1000. Using any kind of alcohol or alcohol derivatives can cause the acrylic tube to crack and fail. Avoid cleaning the reservoir with alcohol as well.
4. Parts list: Familiarize yourself with the parts list provided in the manual. Ensure that you have all the necessary components for installation.
5. Mainboard SYNC installation: If you want to synchronize the reservoir's lighting with your motherboard, follow the instructions specific to your motherboard brand:
- ASUS: Connect the cable to the Aura Addressable Strip Header(s).
- MSI: Connect the cable to the JRGB-strip Header(s).
- ASROCK: Connect the cable to the Addressable RGB LED Header(s).
- GIGABYTE: Connect the cable to the AOURS RGB Fusion with Digital LEDs.
6. Controller installation: Follow these steps to install the controller:
- Connect the reservoir cable to the controller.
- Set the DIP switch on the back side of the controller to assign the controller's number.
- Connect the controller cable to the mainboard (USB 2.0 9 pin) and the controller.
- Connect the power cable to the 4-pin Molex connector and the controller.
- If you want to connect multiple controllers, you can use the bridge cable to connect them.
