Connecting the hoses to the water pump is a straightforward process. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Start by identifying the suction and discharge ports on your water pump. The suction port is where the water is drawn into the pump, while the discharge port is where the water is expelled from the pump.
2. Take the 20' PVC heavy-duty suction hose and attach the quick connect coupler end to the suction port of the water pump. The quick connect coupler ensures a secure and tight fit.
3. Next, take the 50' PVC lay-flat discharge hose and attach the quick connect coupler end to the discharge port of the water pump. Again, ensure a secure connection.
4. If needed, you can use the included 2" male adapters to connect the hoses to the water pump. These adapters are made of aluminum and are designed to fit NPT connections.
5. Once the hoses are connected, make sure they are tightly secured to prevent any leaks during operation.
