To install the Fein AGWP10 Cordless Tapper, please follow these steps:
1. Before installation, make sure you have read and understood the instruction manual and safety warnings provided.
2. Ensure that the power tool is switched off and the battery is removed.
3. Clean the ventilation openings on the power tool using non-metal tools to remove any dust or debris.
4. If an auxiliary handle is supplied with the tool, attach it securely to the designated handle area. Using an auxiliary handle can help maintain control and prevent personal injury.
5. Hold the power tool by the insulated gripping surfaces when performing operations where the cutting accessory may contact hidden wiring. This will prevent electric shock.
6. Check the working area for any concealed electric cables, gas, or water conduits using a metal detector.
7. Secure the workpiece firmly using a clamping device or vice. A tightly gripped workpiece is more secure than holding it by hand.
8. Hold the power tool firmly, as high reaction torque can occur during operation.
9. Do not direct the power tool towards yourself, other persons, or animals to avoid injury from sharp or hot application tools.
10. Do not rivet or xxxx any nameplates or signs onto the power tool, as this may damage the insulation and render protection against electric shock ineffective. Instead, use adhesive labels.
11. Only use accessories that are specifically designed and recommended by the power tool manufacturer. Safe operation is not guaranteed if an accessory does not fit your power tool properly.
12. Wear personal protective equipment such as a face shield, safety goggles or glasses, dust mask, hearing protectors, gloves, and a workshop apron capable of stopping small abrasive or workpiece fragments. The eye protection should be able to stop flying debris, and the dust mask or respirator should filter particles generated by your operation. Prolonged exposure to high-intensity noise may cause hearing loss.
13. When handling the battery, follow the instructions provided to avoid hazardous situations such as burns, fire, explosion, and skin injuries. Do not disassemble or open the battery, and keep it away from heat and fire. Only use intact original FEIN batteries intended for your power tool.
14. Clean the battery terminals and power tool connections with a dry, clean cloth to ensure proper functioning.
15. Once the power tool is properly installed and all safety measures are in place, you can proceed with using the Fein AGWP10 Cordless Tapper for cutting threads in through holes and blind holes in weather-protected environments without water supply, using the recommended application tools and accessories.
