To connect your PowerBass XL-850 8 Speaker System to your TV, you have a few options depending on the available connections on your TV. Here are the steps for each option:
1. Bluetooth Connection:
- Make sure your TV has Bluetooth capability. If not, you will need to use one of the other connection methods.
- Turn on your PowerBass XL-850 8 Speaker System and put it in Bluetooth pairing mode by pressing and holding the Bluetooth/Aux Mode button on the controller until you hear a sequence of tones and see the back lights flashing.
- On your TV, go to the Bluetooth settings and search for the XL-(model) Soundbar signal to pair with your PowerBass XL-850.
- Once paired, you can control the volume and other functions using either the main controller on the soundbar or your connected device.
2. AUX Connection:
- Check if your TV has an AUX output or headphone jack. If it does, you can use a 3.5mm AUX cable to connect the TV's audio output to the AUX input on the PowerBass XL-850.
- Plug one end of the AUX cable into the TV's audio output or headphone jack, and the other end into the AUX input on the soundbar.
- Turn on the soundbar and set it to AUX mode by pressing the Bluetooth/Aux Mode button on the controller.
- Adjust the volume and other settings using the main controller on the soundbar or your TV's remote control.
3. Optical Connection:
- Check if your TV has an optical audio output. If it does, you can use an optical cable to connect the TV to the PowerBass XL-850.
- Plug one end of the optical cable into the TV's optical audio output, and the other end into the optical input on the soundbar.
- Turn on the soundbar and set it to the appropriate input mode (usually Optical or SPDIF) using the main controller on the soundbar.
- Adjust the volume and other settings using the main controller on the soundbar or your TV's remote control.
