To install the NewAir NAC14KWHD3 Dual Hose Portable Air Conditioner and Heater, follow these steps:
1. Find a level surface: Ensure that the surface where you will be installing the unit is level.
2. Check the air outlet: Make sure that the air outlet is not blocked and that there is at least 2.6 ft (80cm) of clearance on all sides of the unit.
3. Choose a suitable location: The unit should be installed indoors and not in wet locations such as a laundry room or bathroom.
4. Check the electrical socket: Ensure that the electrical socket supplying power to the unit is wired in accordance with local safety requirements.
5. Install the exhaust hose: Twist both ends of the exhaust hose into the square fixing clip and the flat fixing clip. Insert the square fixing clip into the openings on the back of the air conditioner. Place the other end of the exhaust hose on a nearby windowsill.
6. Install the mounting plate (if applicable): If you have the mounting plate accessories, follow the instructions provided in the manual to install the outer plate, xxxx , gasket, nut, and inner plate.
7. Install the window slider kit: The window slider kit included with the unit can accommodate horizontal or vertical installation. Follow the instructions provided in the manual to install the window kit in your window and adjust the length of the window slider kit according to the window width or height.
Once you have completed the installation, you can power on the unit and start using it according to the operating instructions provided in the manual.
