To install the BOYO VTL425TJ License Plate Camera, please follow these steps:
1. Start by selecting a suitable location on your vehicle's license plate frame to mount the camera. Ensure that the camera is positioned in a way that provides a clear view of the license plate.
2. Once you have chosen the location, use the provided screws to securely attach the camera to the license plate frame.
3. Next, route the camera's wiring to the dashboard of your vehicle. The VTL425TJ comes with a long video extension cable that connects the camera to the dashboard display.
4. At the dashboard end of the extension cable, you will find an RCA video jack. This jack can be connected to either the "rear camera" input on your stereo system or a separate monitor display. Please refer to the product page video for a visual demonstration of the wiring process.
5. After connecting the camera to the dashboard display, ensure that all connections are secure and properly insulated to prevent any damage or interference.
6. Finally, test the camera by turning on your vehicle's lights. The camera is designed to function in low-light conditions and will provide clear visibility of the license plate numbers. If necessary, the camera's settings can be adjusted to optimize image quality.
