To install the BOYO VTR219GW dash cam, follow these steps:
Step 1: Decide where to place your dash cam. Choose a location that provides a clear view of the road ahead and does not obstruct your view while driving.
Step 2: Locate the fuse box for your car. This is usually located under the dashboard or in the engine compartment.
Step 3: Start the power cable's routing. Route the power cable from the dash cam to the fuse box, making sure to hide the cable along the car's interior trim.
Step 4: Find the "hot in start" fuse. This is a fuse that only receives power when the car is turned on. Connect the power cable to this fuse using an add-a-circuit power cable installation kit.
Step 5: Find the ground point. Locate a metal point on the car's body to serve as the ground for the dash cam. Connect the ground wire from the power cable to this point.
Step 6: Connect the rear lens. Attach the rear lens to the back of your car, preferably near the rear windshield.
