To clean the Cuisinart WM-PZ10 Pizzelle Press, follow these steps:
1. After cooking, remove the plug from the electrical outlet and leave the top lid open to allow the plates to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Never disassemble the Pizzelle Press for cleaning. Instead, use a brush to remove crumbs from the grooves on the plates.
3. Use a dry cloth or paper towel to absorb any excess cooking oil from the plates and the exterior of the press.
4. If batter adheres to the plates, pour a little cooking oil onto the cooked batter and let it stand for approximately 5 minutes. This will soften the batter for easy removal.
5. Do not pour oil onto the pizzelle plates when the press is plugged in.
6. To clean the exterior of the press, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleansers or harsh pads.
7. Never immerse the cord, plug, or unit in water or other liquids.
It is important to note that the Pizzelle Press should be completely cool before cleaning, and the plates should be wiped with a damp cloth to prevent staining and sticking from batter or oil buildup.
