To set up and use the Tile Pro Bluetooth Tracker, follow these steps:
1. Download the Tile App: Search for "Tile" in your device's app store and download the Tile app.
2. Create an Account: Open the Tile app and click "Get Started." Use your email address as the username and set up a password (at least 7 characters long). Follow the email confirmation instructions sent to your inbox (check spam folder if needed).
3. Log in to the Tile App: Return to the Tile app and log in using your email and password.
4. Enable Bluetooth and Location: Follow the instructions in the Tile app to enable Bluetooth and location services on your device.
5. Link Tile to the App: To add a Tile, click the "+" button in the app. Firmly press the Tile logo on the Tile Pro until a sound is produced. Follow the app instructions and place the Tile next to your device. Give your Tile a name (e.g., Keys, Laptop, Bike). Turn on your Tile, and it will be linked to the app.
6. Use Tile Features: When your Tile is within Bluetooth range, you can use the Tile app to ring it. If your Tile is out of Bluetooth range, you can view its most recent location on a map in the app. To find your phone, double-press the logo button on your Tile. You can also add your contact information to the Tile, so if someone finds it, they can scan the QR code to reach you.
Remember, the Tile Pro has a replaceable battery that lasts up to one year. When the battery stops working, you can easily swap it out with a CR-2032 battery type.
