To install the Pyle PLCMDVR72 Dash Cam Car Recorder, it is recommended to have it installed by a professional installer. However, here are some general steps to guide you:
1. Read the instructions carefully before installation and use.
2. Ensure that the installation does not interfere with any of the vehicle's safety features, wiring, or components.
3. Connect the red and black wire to a 12V power source.
4. Connect the green wire to the reverse trigger cable.
5. Connect the 2 yellow RCA jacks and the red and white RCA jack to the 4-channel video input.
6. Connect the reverse backup camera to Channel 1 to prioritize it when the truck is in reverse.
7. Install the two mini DVRs in desired locations, such as the windscreen for front view recording and inside the car for interior recording.
8. Connect the red and yellow cable of the DVR to a 12V power source, and the black cable to ground.
9. Connect the yellow video jack of the DVR to the 7-inch monitor for display.
10. Mount the monitor stand in a desired location, ensuring it does not obstruct the driver's view or any wiring.
11. Attach the metal buckle piece on top of the fan-shaped mount stand and slide it into the receiving slot at the back of the monitor assembly.
12. Adjust the position and height of the buckle in the monitor assembly.
13. Tighten the clamp-style xxxx at the back of the stand mount to secure the monitor in the desired position.
14. The angle and tilt position of the stand mount can also be adjusted using another clamp-style xxxx located towards the base of the stand mount.
