To achieve the best sound quality, it is recommended to position your DALI Oberon speakers symmetrically around your favorite listening position. The speakers should be parallel to the rear wall and not angled towards the listening position. This will lower distortion in the main listening area and improve room integration. Additionally, objects positioned between the speaker and the listening position may negatively affect sound quality.
For the DALI Oberon 5 & 7 floor standing speakers, it is ideal to position them at least 20 cm (8 inches) away from the rear wall. You can use spikes or rubber bumpers under the speakers to improve sound quality, but be careful not to over tighten the spike locking nuts.
For the DALI Oberon 1 & 3 speakers, they can be positioned on a stand/shelf or hung on a wall using the integrated wall bracket. If positioned on a stand or shelf, you can mount the enclosed rubber bumpers under the speaker for stable and vibration-free positioning. If hanging the Oberon 1 on a wall, mount the bumpers on the rear edges of the speakers and use a xxxx mounted in the wall to hang the speaker.
The DALI Oberon Vokal center channel speaker is designed to be positioned close to the large surface of the TV screen. It can be placed above or below the screen, on a stand, or on a shelf. It is recommended to fit the enclosed bumpers to ensure a stable and vibration-free setup.
Remember to adjust the height of the speakers so that the tweeter is approximately at ear height when seated in your favorite listening position. Experimenting with the position of your speakers may also help optimize the sound quality in your specific setup.
