To connect the MartinLogan Motion AFX speakers to your amplifier, follow these steps:
1. Before making any connections, turn off your amplifier.
2. Use high-quality speaker cables for optimal sound quality. Avoid using wires with a gauge higher than #16.
3. Connect the speaker cables to the binding posts on the rear panel of the speaker. It is recommended to use spade connectors for better contact and ease of installation.
4. Hand tighten the binding posts, but do not overtighten. Avoid using tools to tighten the binding posts.
5. Ensure consistency when connecting the speaker cables. Assign the same color cable lead to the (+) terminal on both the left and right channel speakers.
