To clean the BELLA 14606 Electric Ceramic Titanium Griddle, follow these steps:
1. After each use, turn off the griddle and unplug it from the wall outlet. Allow the griddle to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Remove the temperature control probe from the griddle. Be cautious as the probe may be hot. Let it cool before handling.
3. If necessary, wipe the temperature control case and probe with a damp, soft cloth. Make sure to dry the temperature control probe thoroughly. Note that the temperature control probe is not submersible.
4. Remove the drip tray and empty its contents. Wash the griddle and drip tray in soapy water, then rinse and dry them thoroughly.
5. For stubborn food particles, you can use a plastic cleaning pad to loosen them. Avoid hard scouring, as it may cause surface scratches. Do not use steel wool, scouring pads, or abrasive cleaners on any part of the griddle.
6. To clean the non-stick surface, avoid stacking objects on the griddle cooking plates to prevent scratching. Do not use cooking sprays, as they can cause a build-up on the cooking plates and affect the non-stick performance of the griddle.
7. For general cleaning of the ceramic non-stick surface, wash the griddle plate with hot soapy water and dry it with a towel. If there are stubborn stains, you can create a paste by sprinkling baking soda on the stains and adding some water. Let the paste stand for a few minutes, then rub with a soft damp cloth or lightly scrub with a plastic scouring pad. Repeat if necessary, but do not use a metal scouring pad.
Remember to ensure that the probe and probe receptacle are completely dry before using the griddle again. The griddle is not dishwasher safe, so it should be cleaned by hand using the recommended cleaning methods.
