Pre-Installation:
1. It is recommended to use a magnetic screwdriver for easier screwing.
2. Do not install the tiny xxxx to lock the Horizontal Angle Mount before attaching it to the wall.
Installation:
1. If you have previously installed the Nest Doorbell on your wall, take it down.
2. Pull apart the Horizontal Angle Mount.
3. Attach the mount to the wall using the long screws and wall anchors provided. The drill bit size is 1/8". If you have an uneven surface, use the silicone rings underneath the mount before mounting.
Note: If your doorbell is hardwired, ensure that the doorbell wires come out through the opening at the center of the mount.
4. Reattach the other part of the Horizontal Angle Mount, making sure to hear a click sound when reattaching.
5. Install the doorbell backplate onto the Horizontal Angle Mount using the short screws.
6. Attach the doorbell onto the Horizontal Angle Mount.
Note: If your doorbell is hardwired, connect the wires to the doorbell as shown.
7. Choose your desired angle and tighten the tiny screws on the top and bottom of the mount.
Installation with the Existing Nest Doorbell's Wedge:
1. Follow steps 2-7 as mentioned above.
2. Ignore Step 1.
3. Instead of mounting the Horizontal Angle Mount to the wall, mount and attach it to the doorbell's wedge.
