To install and wire the HIKVISION DS-PDSKM-VG3 Wired Seismic Detector, follow these steps:
1. Determine the desired connection type: The detector supports different connection types, including Normally Closed, Single End of Line Wiring, Double End of Line Wiring, and Triple End of Line Wiring. Choose the appropriate connection type for your installation.
2. Resistor Wiring: The detector requires the use of End of Line (EOL) resistors. You can either use the resistor jumper provided or add the resistor to the wiring ports. The EOL resistance values for Alarm, Tamper, and Fault are 1K, 2K2, 4K7, 5K6, and 6K8. Make sure to connect the resistor in series with one end of the detector.
3. DIP Settings: The detector has DIP switches that allow you to configure its settings. Refer to the manual for the specific settings and their corresponding functions.
4. Relay Status: The detector has three relays: Alarm Relay, Fault Relay, and Tamper Relay. The relay status can be configured using the DIP switches. The table in the manual provides the relay status for different switch positions.
