To install the HOME DECORATORS COLLECTION HB3689-43 2 Light Ceiling Flush Mount, follow these steps:
1. Before starting installation, disconnect the power by turning off the circuit breaker or removing the fuse at the fuse box.
2. Read all instructions before assembly and installation.
3. Assemble the fixture on a soft, non-abrasive surface such as carpet or cardboard.
4. Thread the fixture screws (EE) into the provided holes of the mounting bracket (FF).
5. Thread the small hex nuts (BB) onto the fixture screws (EE), but do not tighten them yet.
6. Pull the supply wires out from the outlet box and mount the mounting bracket (FF) to the outlet box (GG) using the mounting screws (DD).
7. Place the canopy (A) over the outlet box and onto the fixture screws (EE).
8. Adjust the fixture screws (EE) until they protrude out from the fixture body (A) by 1/4 inch.
9. Remove the fixture body (A) and secure the position of the fixture screws (EE) by tightening the small hex nuts (BB) against the mounting bracket (FF).
10. Connect the black supply wire to the black fixture wire using a wire nut (CC).
11. Connect the white supply wire to the white fixture wire using a wire nut (CC).
12. Connect the supply ground wire to the fixture ground wire using a wire nut (CC).
13. Add a cable tie below each wire nut to provide a more secure connection.
14. Place the fixture body (A) over the fixture screws (EE) and secure the fixture body (A) with the thumb nuts (AA).
15. Install a 60W Incandescent bulb (HH) or LED or CFL equivalent into each socket of the fixture body (A).
16. Turn on power at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
17. Turn the light switch on to activate the fixture.
