To clean the ADLER AD 7432 Electric Foot Warmer with LCD Controller, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the device from the power source and let it cool down before cleaning.
2. Disconnect the power cord with the controller from the outer shell of the foot warmer.
- Lift the locking latch on the detachable plug and pull it firmly from the cord socket. Do not pull on the cord.
3. Clean the cord surface with a neutral detergent if it is dirty. Dry it with a soft cloth.
4. The outer shell of the foot warmer with heating elements and the removable inner lining made of synthetic wool can be washed by hand or on a delicate program in the washing machine. Use a mild detergent and a recommended water temperature of 40°C.
5. Do not dry-wash the foot warmer as it may damage the heating elements.
6. Do not dry the outer shell in the sun, iron it, or use mothproofing. These actions can damage the insulation and pose a safety risk.
7. Hang the foot warmer in a ventilated place to let it dry naturally. Ensure that the device is completely dry before folding, packing, or reusing it.
8. The removable inner lining made of synthetic wool can be ironed up to 110°C if needed.
9. If the power cord or controller is damaged, do not attempt to repair them yourself. They should be serviced by a qualified person.
