To power up the ADCA5190-EVALZ evaluation board, you will need an 8 V, 500 mA power supply. Connect the positive terminal of the power supply to the VDD pin on connector P1 and the ground terminal to the GND pin. The bias current (IDD) of the ADCA5190 can be controlled by adjusting the voltage of the VADJ pin on connector P1. Setting VADJ is optional, and the pin can be left floating. If VADJ is left floating, refer to the ADCA5190 datasheet for the typical DC supply current to expect when powering up the VDD supply.
To power down the ADCA5190-EVALZ evaluation board, follow the recommended bias sequence:
1. Turn off the RF signal.
2. Set VADJ to 0 V.
3. Set VDD to 0 V.
Please refer to the "Operating the ADCA5190-EVALZ" section of the user guide for more information and details on the recommended bias sequences.
