To connect your laptop to the InFocus IN5312 XGA DLP Projector, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that both your laptop and the projector are powered off.
2. Locate the VGA or HDMI port on your laptop. The IN5312 projector supports both VGA and HDMI connections.
3. Connect one end of the VGA or HDMI cable to the corresponding port on your laptop.
4. Locate the VGA or HDMI input port on the back of the projector.
5. Connect the other end of the VGA or HDMI cable to the input port on the projector.
6. Power on your laptop and the projector.
7. On the projector's remote control, press the "Source" button to select the input source. Use the arrow keys to navigate and press the "Enter" button to confirm.
8. Select the appropriate input source (VGA or HDMI) that matches the cable connection you made in step 3.
9. If necessary, adjust the display settings on your laptop to ensure that the projector's resolution matches your laptop's resolution. Refer to your laptop's user manual for instructions on adjusting display settings.
10. You should now see your laptop's display projected onto the screen.
