To adjust the bass and treble levels on the Proficient Audio Systems C791 2-Way Poly Ceiling Speakers, you can use the contour switches provided on the speakers. These switches allow you to increase or decrease the bass and treble levels by 3dB.
To adjust the bass, locate the switch labeled "BASS" on the speakers. By default, the switch is set to the "-" position, providing a flat bass response. If you desire more bass, push the switch to the "+" position, and the bass will play 3dB higher. To return to the neutral setting, push the switch back to the "-" position.
To adjust the treble, locate the switch labeled "TREBLE" on the speakers. Like the bass switch, it is also set to the "-" position by default, providing a neutral treble response. If you desire more treble, move the switch to the "+" position, and the tweeter will play 3dB higher. To return to the neutral setting, push the switch back to the "-" position.
It's important to note that these adjustments are subjective and depend on your personal preference and listening environment. You can experiment with different settings to find the bass and treble levels that suit your taste.
