According to the user manual, you should check the grease level in your Titan Post Driver regularly. For continuous, hard pounding or when the driver body is hot to the touch, it is recommended to check the grease level of your driver. To do this, remove the crank housing cover and inspect the crank area. The crank area should look clean and grease should be visible around the crank area and on top of the piston. If the ring of grease around the crank case wall measures less than ¼ inch, it is an indication that the grease level is low. In this case, you should add no more than a few tablespoons of Titan EP 0 grease (non-approved grease types will cause the machine to not operate correctly and will void your warranty). However, you should never exceed ½ inch of grease ring around the crank case walls as this can damage the driver and Honda engine. It is important to note that the user manual advises against overfilling the crank case with grease.
