Yes, you can adjust the bass and treble levels on the PROFICIENT AUDIO SYSTEMS C801 Thin-Bezel Ceiling Speakers. The speakers are equipped with contour switches that allow you to increase or decrease the bass and treble by 3dB. To adjust the bass, locate the switch labeled "BASS" on the speaker. By default, the switch is set to the "-" position, providing a flat bass response. If you desire more bass, push the switch to the "+" position, and the bass will play 3dB higher. To return to the neutral setting, push the switch back to the "-" position.
To adjust the treble, locate the switch labeled "TREBLE" on the speaker. The switch is also set to the "-" position by default, providing a linear frequency response. If you desire more treble, move the switch to the "+" position, and the tweeter will play 3dB higher. To return to the neutral setting, push the switch back to the "-" position.
Please refer to Diagram 4 in the instruction manual for a visual representation of the bass and treble adjustment switches.
