To fill the Metabo P 9000 G Garden Pump with water, follow these steps:
1. Unscrew the water filling xxxx (number 9) located on the pump.
2. Slowly pour clean water into the pump until it is filled.
3. xxxx the water filling xxxx back in tightly.
4. Open the discharge line (such as a water tap or spray nozzle) to allow air to escape during suction.
5. Switch on the device by turning on the switch (number 1).
6. The pump is ready for operation when water starts to emerge evenly.
Note: The suction line does not need to be filled with water as the pump is self-priming. However, it may take some time for pressure to build up depending on the length and diameter of the line. To shorten the suction time, you can install a check valve at the intake opening of the suction hose and fill the suction line as well.
