To install the LIGHT BRICKS 75276 Light Kit, please follow the steps outlined in the installation guide provided. Here is a summary of the installation process:
1. Before you begin, make sure to lay the cables correctly between LEGO® studs and avoid forcefully joining LEGO® together around cables to prevent damage.
2. Connect the cable connectors to the expansion boards by ensuring they are inserted in the correct orientation. Look for the soldered "=" symbol on the left side of the port and ensure the wires on the connector are facing towards the symbol.
3. Connect the cable connectors to the strip lights by inserting them in the correct orientation. The side of the connector with the exposed wires should face down when the strip light is facing up.
4. Take extra care when connecting micro cable connectors to micro expansion board ports. Ensure the side of the connector with the exposed wires is facing down and use your fingernail to push the plastic part of the connector into the micro port.
5. When installing Bit Lights under LEGO® bricks and plates, make sure they are placed with the yellow LED component exposed. You can place them on top of LEGO® studs or in between.
6. Follow the instructions carefully to ensure a smooth installation. If you encounter any issues, refer to the troubleshooting guide provided online.
7. If the lights are not working, try using a different port on the expansion board to identify if the issue lies with the light or the expansion board. Refer to the troubleshooting section for further guidance on resolving expansion board issues.
