To clean the inside of your GE Appliances JES1109 Microwave Oven, you can follow these steps:
1. Walls, Floor, Inside Window, Metal and Plastic Parts on the Door: Some spatters can be removed with a paper towel, while others may require a damp cloth. For greasy spatters, use a sudsy cloth and then rinse with a damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or sharp utensils on the oven walls. To clean the surface of the door and the surface of the oven that come together upon closing, use mild, non-abrasive soaps or detergents with a sponge or soft cloth. Rinse with a damp cloth and dry.
2. Removable Turntable and Turntable Support: Wash the turntable and turntable support carefully in warm, sudsy water or in the dishwasher. Do not place the turntable into water just after cooking to prevent breakage. Remember to always use the turntable and support when operating the oven.
It is important to note that you should not use cleaners containing ammonia or alcohol on the microwave oven, as they can damage the appearance of the microwave. Additionally, do not use steel-wool pads on stainless steel surfaces, as they can scratch the surface. For stainless steel surfaces, use a hot, damp cloth with a mild detergent suitable for stainless steel surfaces. Dry with a clean cloth and use a stainless-steel polish if needed.
Always make sure the oven control is turned off before cleaning any part of the microwave oven.
