Here is a step-by-step guide on how to install the Dynojet Suzuki GSX-R750 Expansion Sensor:
1. Start by turning off the ignition before beginning the installation process.
2. Remove the main seat and the passenger seat or solo cover to access the tail section.
3. Prop up the fuel tank using the prop rod located in the tail section.
4. Place the Power Commander 6 (PC6) in the tail section.
5. Route the wiring harness from the PC6 under the tail section and towards the engine, following the left-hand side of the bike. Make sure to route the harness under the fuel tank bracket.
6. Attach the ground wire from the PC6 to the negative side of the battery.
7. Unplug the stock wiring harness from each of the fuel injectors.
8. Plug the connectors from the PC6 in-line with the stock fuel injectors and the stock wiring harness. The PC6 wiring harness leads with ORANGE colored wire go in-line with the cylinder #1 fuel injector, the YELLOW colored wire leads go in-line with the cylinder #2 fuel injector, the GREEN colored wire leads go in-line with the cylinder #3 fuel injector, and the BLUE-colored wire leads go in-line with the cylinder #4 fuel injector.
9. Plug the pair of 3-pin connectors from the PC6 in-line with the stock Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) and wiring harness. Locate the TPS connector on the far right-hand side of the throttle bodies. The TPS connector has PINK/BLACK - RED - BLACK/BROWN colored wires.
10. Install the PC6 in the tail section, securing it with the supplied Velcro. Clean the surface with the provided alcohol swab before applying the Velcro.
11. Lower the fuel tank back into position, ensuring that none of the wires get pinched or damaged.
Additional optional inputs:
- Speed input location: Use the PINK wire of the sensor on the sprocket cover.
- Temperature input location: Use the Green connector on the back of the cylinder, specifically the BLACK/BLUE wire.
- 12v for Autotune: Use the Brown wire of the tail light connector.
