Here is a step-by-step guide on how to install the Dynojet Multistrada 1100 Power Commander:
1. Remove the left and right side panels of your bike.
2. Use the supplied Velcro strips to secure the Power Commander module to the battery. Clean both surfaces with the supplied alcohol swab before attaching the Velcro.
3. Attach the Power Commander ground wire with the small ring lug to the negative (-) battery terminal.
4. Locate the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) on the left side of the throttle body.
5. Unplug the stock connector from the bike's TPS to access the wiring harness.
6. Use the supplied Posi-tap to attach the single unterminated GREY wire of the Power Commander to the stock ORANGE wire of the bike's TPS wiring harness. This is pin position C on the stock TPS connector.
7. After attaching the GREY wire, plug the stock TPS connector back onto the TPS.
8. Route the Power Commander wiring harness up to the throttle bodies. You can install the Power Commander without removing the fuel tank and air box, but removing them may make the installation easier.
9. Unplug the stock wiring harness from the rear fuel injector.
10. Plug the pair of Power Commander leads with YELLOW colored wires in-line with the stock wiring harness and the rear fuel injector.
11. Route the Power Commander harness under the throttle bodies to the right side of the bike.
12. Repeat steps 9 and 10 for the front fuel injector using the pair of Power Commander leads with the ORANGE colored wires.
13. Reinstall the left and right side panels of your bike.
