To charge the Newell LP-E6NH rechargeable batteries, it is recommended to follow these guidelines:
1. Li-ion Batteries: Before the initial use, fully charge the battery pack. It is not necessary to discharge the battery before recharging. Charging the battery while some capacity remains does not affect the original battery capacity. It is even advisable to make a few part-time charging cycles.
2. Ni-MH Batteries: Before the initial use, fully charge the battery pack. Ni-MH batteries should be fully discharged and fully charged each time to avoid the effect of decreasing battery capacity.
3. Batteries work best at room temperature. Charge the batteries in a temperature range of 10°C - 30°C for efficient charging. Battery performance decreases in low ambient temperatures. To maintain the battery's life, it is recommended to store it in a warm place. Putting the battery into a pocket can provide additional operating time.
