To secure the rear of the motorcycle using the OXFORD OX747 Super Wonder Bar Strap Tie-Down, you will need additional tie-downs. Make sure that the anchor points for the additional tie-downs are slightly forward of the front wheel stop. The tie-down points should always be as far apart as possible to triangulate the support of your bike.
Once you have identified the anchor points, attach the carabiners of the additional tie-downs to the trailer anchor points or strapping points. Then, pull the webbing strap of each additional tie-down to tighten until secure.
To prevent slippage of the strap through the cam buckle, tie off the strap ends around the strap and make a knot.
It is also advisable to cable tie the front brake lever to the handlebar grip or use the Oxford Clamp-On to ensure the bike cannot roll forward. Additionally, securing the wheel to the floor or trailer can help prevent lateral slippage.
Please note that the OXFORD OX747 Super Wonder Bar Strap Tie-Down has a safe working load of 72kg. Always ensure that the total weight of your motorcycle and any additional equipment does not exceed this limit.
