To connect the SENECA R-16DI-8DO I-O Profinet module to your system, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have read the entire installation guide and are familiar with the preliminary warnings and precautions mentioned.
2. Make sure you are a qualified electrician before attempting to use the module.
3. Take appropriate measures to prevent electrostatic discharges during the installation process.
4. Choose the appropriate location for the module, considering the environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity.
5. Mount the module using a DIN rail 35mm IEC EN60715, wall, or panel with screws.
6. Connect the power supply to the module. The module supports a voltage range of 10-40 Vdc or 19-28 Vac with a maximum power consumption of 3 W.

11. If you want to create a daisy-chain Ethernet connection, ensure that there are no loops in the cabling. The LAN fault-bypass function allows the connection between the two Ethernet ports to remain active even in the event of a power failure.
