To install the ARISTON BLU1 R ABS Electric Water Heater, follow these steps:
1. Choose a suitable location: The water heater should be installed on a solid wall that is not subjected to vibrations. It should be installed as close as possible to the point of water intake to limit heat loss. Leave a clearance of at least 50 cm under the appliance and 10 cm from the ceiling for maintenance.
2. Mount the water heater: Use brackets and fastening hooks to mount the water heater on the wall. The fastening hooks should be at least 12 mm in diameter. Make sure the fastening is secure and can support the weight of the water heater when filled with water.
3. Connect the water supply: Install the safety valve (included in the delivery set) on the cold water inlet of the water heater. Connect the inlet of the safety valve to the cold water line with a tube or flexible hose. Connect a tube or flexible hose to the hot water outlet of the water heater for hot water removal to the desired points.
4. Electrical connection: If the water heater is already equipped with a cable and plug, simply connect it to a power supply source. If not, use a cable with the same characteristics (type H05VV-F 3x1,5 mm2, Ø 8,5 mm) for connection. Thread the power supply cable through the relevant hole on the cover of the appliance and fix it to the thermostat terminals. Make sure the water heater is properly earthed.
5. Commissioning: Shut off the hot water supply of the central water supply system. Fill the water heater tank with mains water by turning on the hot water mixer tap and the tap of cold water supplied to the water heater. Once the water heater is full, water will flow from the mixer tap. Check for any leaks and tighten the nuts if necessary. Turn off the hot water tap on the mixer.
6. Temperature control: Set the desired temperature of the water heating using the temperature controller or thermostat. Follow the instructions in the manual for the specific model you have.
