To install the DYNOJET 2000-2001 Honda CBR929RR Power Commander 6, please follow the steps below:
1. Turn off the ignition before starting the installation.
2. Remove the main seat and passenger seat.
3. Remove the fuel tank mounting bolts at the front of the fuel tank and prop up the front of the fuel tank.
4. Locate and unplug the fuel injector sub-harness connector and the crank position sensor connector. The fuel injector sub-harness connector is a GREY 8-pin connector, and the Crank Position Sensor connector is a RED 2-pin connector. Both are on the right side of the bike under the fuel hose.
5. Plug the two pairs of connectors from the PC6 wiring harness in line with the two pairs of stock connectors.
6. Route the PC6 wiring harness under the fuel tank and towards the tail section.
7. Lower the fuel tank, making sure not to pinch the PC6 wiring harness, and secure the front of the fuel tank with the mounting bolts.
8. Secure the PC6 ground wire with the ring lug to the negative (-) terminal of the bike's battery.
9. Route the PC6 and wiring harness under the rear seat subframe. Use the supplied Velcro to secure the PC6 module in the tail section to the inner fender below the passenger seat. Clean both surfaces with the supplied alcohol swab before applying the Velcro adhesive. Reinstall the seats.
10. Download the latest map files from the DYNOJET website at dynojet.com/tunes.
Optional Inputs:
- Speed: Connect the PINK wire of the speed sensor. This can be found on a BLACK 3-pin connector under the fuel tank. The connector has PINK, GREEN, and BLACK wires.
- Temperature: Connect the PINK/WHITE wire of the coolant temperature sensor. This sensor is on the thermostat housing at the rear of the engine. The sensor has PINK/WHITE, GREEN/ORANGE, and GREEN/BLUE wires.
- 12V Source for Autotune: Connect the BROWN/BLUE wire from the tail lights.
